Love That Awakens
Listen to this reading
"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you."
— Isaiah 60:1
Every journey begins with awakening — that quiet moment when something inside you stirs, stretches, and remembers that you were made for more than survival. God's love awakens you gently, like morning light slipping through a window. It does not shake you violently; it calls you softly. It whispers to the parts of you that have been sleeping under disappointment, buried under routine, or numbed by long seasons of waiting. Awakening is not about noise; it is about recognition. It is the moment your spirit remembers its origin — that you were formed in love, sustained by love, and called by love. God awakens you not to overwhelm you, but to remind you that there is still breath in your purpose, still fire in your calling, still movement in your destiny. There are places in you that have been quiet for too long — dreams you set aside, prayers you stopped praying, strengths you forgot you carried. But God's love is awakening them again. Not suddenly, but steadily. Not forcefully, but faithfully. His love is the sunrise over the landscape of your soul, revealing what darkness tried to hide. Awakening is God's invitation to begin again — not from the place of your failure, but from the place of His faithfulness.
"I am awakening what you thought was lost. I am stirring what you believed was finished. Rise — My light is upon you."
